I just received the final card I needed to complete the 2020-21 Upper Deck - UD Canvas set. This set has become one of my favorites which got me thinking (not sure why I had this thought). If I could only keep one set from my collection which would it be?
If I collected for monetary reasons it would be easily the 1979-80 Topps set for the Gretzky rookie, but I would have to go with my favorite set from childhood, the 1984-85 O-Pee-Chee set. Only went with the O-Pee-Chee from that year over the Topps set is it has more cards. I believe the 84-85 sets will always be my all time favorites.
What set would keep?

Easy decision. 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee hockey.

'72 Topps Baseball---great design, and while not the first I remember buying (being bought for me) as a kid, the first I remember finding acquiring a box of from my cousins once the card collecting bug had settled in me about 1975 or 1976.

I wish I had either of those sets in my collection. I have all the commons from 05-06, just missing around 98% of the Young Guns. I do have the complete 2020-21 tribute set haha

That's the one with the "Play Ball" game on the back of the cards. Excellent choice! We should get a tournament going here using that set or the O-Pee-Chee version. Very high scores, double digits for both teams from what I can remember.

I am an admitted weirdo.
If I had to move out all of my sets, but got to save one, I wouldn't save any. I am an all or nothing kind of person. If I couldn't have all 120 (or so) baseball and the 60 (or so) hockey sets, I don't want to keep any. If any go, they all go.
Anyone else feel this way?
