For Christmas, my daughter surprised me this year with a fantastic book about baseball cards! The book is titled "Game Faces: Early Baseball Cards From the Library of Congress". I'm all about history! The book specifically covers cards from the Benjamin K. Edwards collection at the LOC. I never knew the LOC had a baseball card collection! The book takes a fascinating look at the early development of baseball, the beginnings of the tobacco companies, and the rise of baseball cards as collectable items. Each year's set is reviewed. Go check it out. It's a great book!

I picked this book up recently as well and it's definitely a great read!
