Hi everyone, new to this site but long time collector.... Was wondering if anyone can recommend a good grading service that won't break the bank locally? I'm located in Ontario, and looking to get some of my favorite cards graded for preservation mostly and possible future selling. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Ksa is most popular I think in Canada. Website is https://www.ksagrading.com/ but most Americans only care about PSA grades. It's a hard question to answer because nobody knows what will happen in 5 to 10 years.
There is a lot of grading companies and some have some pretty cool technology.
Careful Proper Research is always key in everything

As said, KSA is probably the cheapest due to shipping and declared value from Canada. The most popular is PSA followed by SGC. Then there is BGS, CGC, and TAG which is reputable but at a lower tier when it comes to price sold and collectibility.

PSA also has a Canadian site with Canadian dollar pricing and shipping within Canada now: psacanada.ca
Prices start at $24.99 per card

MNT Grading is another Canadian company. They are based out of Ontario and have been around for a few years now. Their costs per card vary depending on the service you choose. Anywhere from the lowest $18 (Basic 6 month service) per card all the way up to the highest $69 for 2 day service. I have yet to grade a card(s) but would probably use MNT when I do. They are slowly gaining ground in popularity.

I would recommend that you go with KSA as they have a two week turnaround time on their regular service.
If you want to grade really expensive cards, my suggestion is to deliver the cards to them, either in Elmira or at the 2024 Sport Card and Memorabilia Spring Expo, being held April 25-28 at the International Centre.

Also let's not forget GMA based in Florida (not very popular) but I am seeing them in showcases as well.

So I'm being advised to use CSG, has anyone had any experience with them?
