I like everyone elses' ideas for you "Easy30", but I have my own opinion to put forth here. I would keep a hard watch on cards from the 1962 and 1968 sets. Go after the 1976-78 sets, but make sure that you catch EVERY '62 and '68 card that appears before you!!! How much would you hate to lose a needed 1962 card b/c you bought several late-70's cards for around the same price? Keep your prices for cards in mind when searching and remember that the older cards show up less often. You will probably only see one 1968 card for every ten 1978 cards you find! JMO.

I am with Spaz on this one.  I collect all sets that I do not have because some of the older or rarer cards just are not available at an acceptable price when you want it. I have all of the Topps and O Pee Chee sets on the go with some completed and others near completion, and then some no where near completion.  But it makes this hobby the enjoyment it is, especially with this site to add to it.

Good points. I'm always working on a set or two, but I also follow a number of hard to get cards from other years on eBay and will go for it if one of those cards appears in the right condition at the right price. Sometimes that combination rarely pops up. Gotta be aware and prepared to snap it up. 

Theory's the same either way, by the way. If you decide to go for 1962, it's probably still a good idea to target the tougher or more expensive 1976s or '7s or '8s. 

  I watch eBay for bargains but want to stay within budget. I just finished off a 1985 T set with #401 being last card. I have a User List to show  the 10 sets I sort of working on to keep trade options open.

My next goal is to get the 2016 T set done  then 2007 T or 2008 T set done

Next sets starting, I had so many 1980 T cards as doubles thought I start a second set.  And I got a 2014 TH starter set in a trade recently
