I subscribed to the wantlist // sale/trade list alert notification. Very cool. My question, Do you use them? and if you do....Do you send out trade offers based on these alerts?
I would be interested in how the members use it.

I did not know that feature existed, Bob, so thanks for that. I'll have to look into it more, and also subscribe to this thread to see when others post their feedback. That's another feature I didn't realize existed until maybe last week or so.

I've had it on since it was introduced, but haven't made any trade requests just because of the timing of thins (holidays pending). I also try to wait and see if a trade can be for all the cards in a set or for a sizeable amount of cards. I'm not a big fan of trading 3 or 4 cards for 3 or 4 cards. Shipping becomes too much (I won't do more than 2 cards in a PWE, anything else goes in bubble mailers).
Eventually, I'll go back and look for who has something I want, and then do the full matches and hope I can work something out.

I look at it everyday, sometimes more than once daily. I work on possible deals and have sent out a couple based on the feature. I love the feature and hope it spurs wheeling and dealing. As of yet I've not completed anything but have had a few bites.

I just turned them on. Curious to see what the alerts look like. Looks like a good feature, but I wasn't actively trading when this was created. I will be trading again after the new year.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

I just turned it on ,yself, and it looks like a great feature. It atleast gives out fresh leads for some trades plan on using it a little more next year to a lot more trading as I load my doubles of baseball cards. I was also thinking if i should load the 30,000+ football cards and 25,000+ baskettball cards that I don't collect instead of trying to sell them off in bulk.
