The person i bought a lot of ards from scimmed through the cards to get the stars. He didn't notice John Elway, Dan Marino, and Dieon Sanders where still in the box.

I've had that happen a few times. It's the perils of buying cards by the lot. But it's worked very well for me over the years...of course as a set builder it's the non-superstars that are usually harder to find for sale.

I've bought many large lots of cards from a partcular set.  I assume that I won't get the stars, but I make sure that the per card price (including shipping) is low enough that I'm comfortable with it.  I like being able to look through the set, even if it isn't all of it.
