As for wax-packs being resealed, the same thing happened when the card companies went to foil packs starting with Upper Deck's first year. Dealers AND regular people figured out how to re-seal the foil packs. That's why the packs now include plastic with the foil. It makes them much harder to open so neatly that they can be re-sealed without it being obvious.
For the comment I'm replying to, I just got a 500-count box of random football cards in the mail Saturday that was stuffed full! It was from a semi-blind trade on Beckett. I'm only sending him 3 cards of NASCAR driver Danica Patrick (1 parallel and two MEM cards). I told him he could send me however many cards of the Panthers, Packers and/or Patriots he felt those cards were worth to him. He sent much more than those 3 teams and now I have hundreds of extra traders, including AU cards. The cards range from 2010-2016 but heavily loaded with 2015 and 2016 cards. That's great b/c I haven't bought much football for the past few years. I spent several hours tonight just organizing them. It's going to take days to add them all on here and on Beckett. I had him send first mostly b/c he has less than a dozen feedback there while I have over 350 completed trades on Beckett, but also b/c I didn't know what he was going to send. I'm definitely going to have to add some extra stuff when I send his cards to him on Monday.
It's not always about "right place, right time", sometimes it's about having a large presence online or finding the right person. In this case, he found me, but I didn't ask for all the stuff he sent me. That has happened to me several times over the years. I just got a message on another site yesterday asking for my mailing address. I know the name but have never dealt with him before, so I can only assume that he has something that he wants me to have. I can't wait to see what shows up.
NO PWE's EVER!!! PLZ PM me 1st before sending any offer. ONLY selling cards as of March 2024. No trades or purchases right now.
