Twinscollector, you have inspired me to go back through my boxes and organize the Avalanche and Bruins collection. I know I have alot of the cards in my collection but have not scanned yet. But first I have to finish up this two week business trip away from collection :(

They're not sealed like a welded slab from a grader. They're just in snap cases with a sticker on them to keep them from opening in transit. Using that logic all cards should be scanned in the packages, because that's the way they came from the manufacturer. Just because some people decide not to open the package doesn't mean it gets uploaded that way. Be it a wrapper, box, top loader, or snap case; they're all just packaging and NOT part of the card.

Sounds like he needs the V31 scanner Billy ...... =) , but I have to agree with C2C here, they were packaging. Unlike the honest slabbed cards that you literally need to crack like a walnut. We have had this debate lots in the past, but the way you have done it is fine by this kid as it is better than nothing. =)

Avsbruins65 - I hope your enjoy going through your Avalanche and Bruins collection. I owe this website alot! Until I discovered TCDB a couple of years ago, I knew I had thousands of Twins cards but had no idea what I had. Now I have them all organized neatly in binders and labeled by years and team sets. On the other hand, I learned how much I don't have also, so I have added about 5,000 Twins cards since I initially entered my collection on the database and the hunt is on-going!! It has been so enjoyable (albeit spendy!) -- I'm glad I have this website to share things with because the people in my normal daily life just don't see what a great hobby this is and share in accomplishments like the TCDB community does. It's nice to have a network of people who understand the passion!
