Well, the wife made her semi-annual trip to the local card shop and today I got the results. Highlights include a 1966 Banks (a little beat up), a 1970 Mays (Ex), and a 1970 Ryan (NRMT). Throw in some other 1970 and 1971 high numbers and another box of 9-pockets, and I'm pretty happy.
Plus...other relatives sent $200, which I might just actually spend this time. Already bought a T206 Moose McCormick for my Merkle's Boner collection and the complete 2016, 50 card, 100 Years of Wrigley set. I might see an Old Judge card in my near future, or I could get the final two Merkle's Boner cards.
It's been a good day.

Nice! Will you please tell your wife my birthday is in July and that I'll take a beat up Banks, Mays, or Ryan, too?

Happy birthday! Your wife sounds very special. Mine complains that she never knows what to get me for my birthday, or Christmas but refuses to buy me anything baseball card related. Even sheets or notebooks. (Luckily my kids indulge me.)
