How do you dispose of cards on this site? Do members have access to my collection to review? How is shipping calculated? Basically, can someone give me a concise overview if i put all 18000 cards up for sale. Not interested in trading since grand and great grand children not interested.
I want to use this site since and deal with people that need the cards I have.
Would be great if someone in this area wanted all of them.
Just asking since there are alot of good cards, I THINK.

well if you're selling idividual cards, there is a hyperlink under each card to Report a Price.. put your price there and select it to move to Sale/ Trade list. If you're trying to get rid of a Lot or a group at once.. you can always post in the For Buy/Sale / Trade forum
(edit) shipping based off whatever you work out with whoever is interested.. IE SSE for one card (cost of a stamp),, padded evelopes,, to super rush same day delivery in any state

Is the price that is posted on the site valid. I know that there are some cards on the famous auction site that seem high to me compared to what is posted herein. Also, seems like the average shipping and handling is high also.

I quit using the median prices because many are skewed. I'd check other sources such as Sportlots.com, Beckett, Ebay, etc. but that's a lot of work. I'd say it's best to try to sell by lots.

If you move your entire collection from 'collection' to 'for sale / trade' (one button on your collection page near the bottom will do that), then any member can match what we have from our wantlist that you have in your collection, and you can then field offers for individual cards or groups of cards.

...or edit your Profile (near bottom) and set Allow other members to match their Wantlist to your Collection? to YES

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Yes, do exactly as Brimose said. Otherwise, if you just leave them in your collection, no one thinks you have any for sale. As for prices, check Ebay and other resources for actual sold prices. It's work but I am doing the same thing you are doing. If you have any questions for me, send me a personal message.
