Huge Gibson fan here. I have a nice 8 x 10 I purchased on ebay of him bowling over Toronto's Pat Borders at home plate. The picture captures his playing intensity. Helmet flying, long hair flowing, crisp white Tiger home jersey with the iconic background of Tiger Stadium's blue facade and orange seats. I enjoy his commentary on the baseball telecasts. He brings a whole new level to the desciption of the game with his views on strategy, from a player and a managers point of view. His positive attitude and wry wit, while living with a debilitating affliction, are very inspirational. He sometimes comes off a bit awkward, and I am sure there are those that don't care for his presentation, but I , for one, enjoy listening to him. Gibson and Al Kaline were the 2 primary rightfielders patrolling Tiger Stadium during my youth. Sorry for the ramble...but good memories.
