I collect sets of
baseball mainly
unless there is
something that
catches my eye and
makes me think I
will keep it. but
baseball is my
passion and is what
I have collected
since I was 9 and
watching the last
few years of the
great Pete's
career, and the
start of some good
new hallof famers.

I just checked how many completed sets I had, and I was was surprised that I had 15 completed.

I have collected baseball and football in my younger, more vulnerable years. It's surprising how many cards I have from 2005 and 2006. Junior high was fun for me in that regard.
Right now it's been all about hockey! Almost done with the 91-92 Pro Set (the year I was born), and now I'm just trying to get as many hockey cards as I can get my hands on. If anyone is looking to unload dupes, hit me up!
I'm planning on collecting as many Detroit Red Wings cards as I can get. My favorite team!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Baseball only:
I have put together a base Topps set every since 1978. I was born in 1960, so I've been trying to complete sets starting with that year. I have 1961-1966 left. All are in various levels of completion.
Kansas City Royals:
I'm working on putting together a Royals team set of base cards from all the different years and card companies. Not trying for all the parallels but enjoying the occasional jersey or auto cards also. |
