I like the rules and wish that other sellers would do the same, or EBAY policy...... I hate finding cards that are overpriced, I use Beckett as my guideline price so if im interested in something Im willing to go higher if others have take the bid higher than the start price, my choice. There is nothing more irritating than finding a card I need worth say .25 and selling for $1.00. I am always looking for good and honest sellers (I buy frequently on EBay) I would love to know who some of the Ebay sellers are from this site.
I also do not like the multiple cards in one picture for the sale of one card. Sometimes it is confusing on what your buying especially if they are of the same player or dont have the zoom. I have been sent the wrong card and have been asked to pay shipping to send card back in order to get the right one.
The part of Ebay I do not like is the lack of communication from seller to buyer and buyer to seller. I recently made a large purchase from a seller who I have bought from several times and have never had a problem with but has a lot of bad reviews. After viewing several bad reviews, not just from this seller, it seems that people try to take advantage of sellers. If you have a problem with your purchase contact the seller before you leave feedback. I know that some sellers dont respond right away or the seller messes you over, but that is when Ebay protection helps you out.

The issue I have with showing multiple cards in one listing is that I can't verify the condition of the card I'm interested in as there are no close-up, individual photos to zoom in on. That leaves me taking their word on condition, if it was described at all. I think that if someone won't take the time to take seperate pictures or scans of a card then they're less inclined to scrutinize the card and give an accurate description of condition. As far as feedback goes I've only been a buyer, never a seller. It seems like sellers are scared to death of negative feedback. I always leave feedback as soon as I get my item and it takes alot to get a negative from me. Though it seems the only way to get a negligent sellers attention is to threaten negative feedback. I have close to 400 ebay purchases and have never once looked at a sellers feedback prior to purchase. Most every time I was unhappy with a purchase it was my own fault , usually due to eagerness or inattention on my part and not the lack of integrity of the seller. I can' t trust that people leaving negative feedback would be as honest with themselves in that way, so I disregard it altogether.

My ID is vrooomed, currently 83 items listed. Only the item(s) for sale in the auction are pictured in the auction.
Please buy my stuff! I may re-use supplies in sending items out, but you'll be happy with how well-protected it is.

I hope no one takes
any of this
personally. These
days it's hard to
tell what'll hurt
someone's feelings.
It's just hard to
understand how
anyone could be
confused by a
multiple item
picture. It's like
saying you can't go
to a grocery store
to buy a single
specific item
because they have
so many other items.
Again, it's not
personal. I don't
know anyone well
enough to make it
personal.
I just make sure
the item I'm
looking for is in
the lot and make
sure condition is
mentioned.

Oh, there's a clock
in my head and
despite what it
said, another one
on the wall. They
don't agree at
all...

In my mind it's simple as well. A photo in an eBay auction is supposed to be for the item being auctioned - and nothing else. Using your store example, a store can't post a photo of the produce section and then put in the fine print below "only the tomatoes are on sale". People will wonder why there's a photo of the whole produce section if only the tomatoes are on sale. That being the case, why not take the extra second or two to provide a clear photo of what's being sold?

I sell on Ebay and I scan or photo only the item I am offering. Sure it may take a little more time but it gives prospective buyers a better view as to what they are buying. As you can see by what people have written, people are turned off by bulk photos. Obviously a seller losers customers this way. If I am buying on Ebay, dont make me search through the class photo for the player I am looking for.

The problem is eBay is a competitive marketplace. For every person wanting to sell a card there are five others selling the same thing. If the auction generates any confusion at all they'll simply click somewhere else. That's what I do.

No confusion for
me. It tells me
that a seller
really doesn't
care, and if they
don't care enough
to take the three
seconds to crop the
scan (Literally, it
takes only about 3
seconds or less)
then they probably
don't care enough
to ship it properly
or even care enough
they make sure to
ship it to the
right place,
either. It tells me
they are not
trustworthy and
therefor not
somebody I should
buy from.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. It's like beating a
fossilized horse
against a brick
wall. I'm just
trying to tell
those who don't
like it, there's
nothing wrong with
it, it's not bad
practice if the
Title & description
are clear and if
it's clear, it's
perfect. It's just
your personal
preference And yes,
grocery stores do
it all the time.
Coke is on sale,
they place the
chips next to the
Coke or Coke next
to chips. It's
product placement.
It generally
doesn't confuse the
average person and
if it does, bless
their little hearts.
I'm saying that I
find it useful when
I'm searching to
add to my favorite
player collection
or sets.
I stumbled upon one
that I think would
really grind your
gears. This is an
example of how NOT
to use a multiple
item picture,
combined with
terrible use of
title and
description. Either
they don't know
what they're doing,
or they're trying
to be vague.
