Does anyone purchase their supplies online? The nearest hobby store to me sells mostly memorabilia and not a lot of supplies that I'm looking for. A lot of my storage boxes are beginning to expire and my collection is rapidly growing, so I'm needing extras as well. The main items I'm looking for are, shoe-box style boxes, team set bags, and a better grade of toploaders (The ones I get from Walmart are really flimsy) . Thanks in advance - E

I've bought a lot of supplies from Columbia Sports out in Washington I think. Always been happy with quality and shipping. eBay is a good place to look at their stuff and compare to others selling similar things.

Thanks, I will look into that. I wouldn't normally think about price if I was buying a single item but I need a lot of stuff!

I second Columbia. I have bought from them on Ebay a couple times and have been pleased.

Thanks! I'm there now. They do have a large amount of product. I think I'll be able to get everything I need in one shot.

I compared some pricing between a local card shop and Amazon and the hometown option was cheaper so I gladly gave him my supply money.

I've found ebay and Amazon as my cheapest options for the stuff my local shop doesn't carry.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I was just on my phone checking out this exact subject. Getting back into the hobby after several (20) years away from it and most of my collection was in old shoe boxes. Adding to my collection on the database now (gonna take a while!!!) and wanting to upgrade the storage solution as well.

I'd love to purchase from my LCS but the guy flat out refuses to stock supplies due to the shipping cost. I'm pretty sure I get free or reduced shipping from Columbia if I spend $75. I'd pay pretty much whatever the LCS would charge (within reason) for supplies and would probably spend money on cards and other things if he carried them. I've gotten so frustrated going in needing like $50 of supplies and walking out with a pack of penny sleeves and 12 9 pocket sheets he has laying around instead just so it wasn't a wasted trip. The other LCS in my town closed a few years ago and that guy would get whatever I needed if he didn't have it in stock and it was the kind of place I could hang out in for a couple of hours talking about cards and sports with the owner and other people in the store. Unfortunately now I'm left with the impersonal buying or trading online which kills the LCS.

I purchased quite a few items from Columbia Sports Card through their Ebay store. I think I did pretty well for $42. I didn't pay a penny for any of the shipping! That probably saved me $15
5 - Shoe box (two row) style storage boxes
3 - 800 count long boxes - for sets
200 - team bags
100 - regular toploaders + 100 free penny sleeves
