RHI was on ESPN2 in the '94 and '95 seasons. Not too shabby. ESPN could do worse during the doldrums of summer, and we're seeing it firsthand (at least in past summers. The World Cup has helped them a lot this summer).
RHI actually had quite a few well-known NHL players, including Manny Legace, Al Secord, Glen Metropolit, and Francis Bouillon. Even Bryan Trottier and Tiger Williams played in the league after they retired (however, the latter only played one game).
But back to the OP- I'm really glad there is a small but strong contingency of hockey collectors and contributors on this site! I think there's only one card I've gotten that wasn't listed or didn't have a team assigned, and that was a UD Gordie Howe card that never had his name on it; it only said "Mr. Hockey." I guess it's from a 2002 National Convention in Chicago. It's labeled "2002 UD Spokesman Set." Definitely a strange card.
I'm sad to say that I haven't done much to help with the adding of hockey pictures; I've collected 1558 hockey cards on this site since the beginning of June, and I've only had to add pictures for 7 cards! That's remarkable, considering how many football cards I have without pictures on the site.
Let's keep up the good work!
