Super issues today with eBay, I use both IE11 and Chrome and neither of them will use eBay today. IE11 has had issues for the longest time with security certificates messages so you all had me switch to Chrome, now it won't even work, constantly getting the Aww Snap screen and its says "to many redirects". I have been googling shite since 11 AM and can not get either browser to work with eBay anymore (today anyways). Has anyone out there had similar issues and if so did you fix them?? Am VERY grumpy. I hate using my phone or ipad when I got a desktop right in front of me. >(

LOL Joe, its really getting sad, all these sites trying to pry into our systems. Obviously either eBay is up to some unscrupilous stuff or my ol' puter is just becoming allergic. Doing a core scan with my McAfee now, I know it will not find anything but what else am I to do, every "tip" I have tried from Microsoft, Chrome OR eBay does not fix it so I guess I am simply "in the act of trying to be with child". =(

Hi,
Are any of the sites doing the same thing or is it only ebay? How fast is your internet conection? Sometimes if your connection is one of the slower ones and there is a lot of traffic on it you could have issues. If it's only ebay that's giving you problems then it is probably an ebay issue.

I am wireless High Speed ... so no issues there, with IE11 I am constantly bombarded with security certificate warnings, sometimes one, sometimes 30 in a row, they pop up so often it is nearly impossibel to exit out, with Chrome as soon as I try to click on any listing I get an error page saying to many redirects and to delete all my cookies, Safari as soon as I type in anything to search it just stalls out. So I can get to eBay and even login and everything is fine with all three, but with IE11 within 10 seconds the errors start to pop up, with Chrome I can at least search, just can't open any listings, Safari I can login and all but a search never ever does anything and I have to close out. It has been getting worse and worse over the past few weeks(?) .... days for sure, to the point that today it is useless.

I will be out for heads at McAfee if thats the case, spent good money on thier new software after much deliberation. It is weird that it is only eBay though, I have read a bit about their practices today to learn that they may not be as honest as they seem to be when it comes to how they direct you around, third party companies and all sorts of intersting jazz. An update though, I did purge my cashe and cookies and everything using McAfee tonight and they deleted 4.5 GB of files and data. So far eBay has worked tonight and all seems to be ok. Maybe traffic is now lower to their site, who knows.

Have you tried using Mozilla Firefox? Before I got Windows 10 that was all I used, because I had so many problems with IE and Chrome. It always seemed to work well for me. I still use it when I have problems logging into this site or if it seems to be real slow on my other browser. Another thing if you Clean your PC and then Defrag it sometimes will help speed it up. I use CCCleaner through Piriform to do that. It's free and should be done every now and then to keep all your stuff rearranged so it still runs smoothly. It's just good practice.

eBay is no different than any other company out there. Their primary interest is in their bottom line. I have found too that they do tend to direct you to certain search results for their "sponsored listings" taking away from your actual intended search results. Pain the arse, but if you find an actual listing you like, clicking on the similar listings down lower can get you where you're needing to be.
No clue on the technical issues though, I've been on my eBay app all day with no issues.
