I have my computer on mute unless I want to listen to something on YouTube. (Plug- search for user ElCaminoBilly on YouTube, and see my 300+ videos!) The ads don't bother me- most of the time- sometimes the page won't finish loading until the ad loads. I notice this only when on the page where you can check off the boxes to add cards to your collection. When that happens I just go and do something else, I never have only one window open.

My advertising nightmare is over. It was caused by two Add Programs that I somehow picked up named mylant.com and Ad Box ( or something like that ). Both programs hijack your WebBrowser and bombard you with advertising, especially the full motion video with sound type of ads. They also constantly launch you to other sites and oif you click on these other sites, they are earning their commissions from the advertisers. Essentially the amount of advertising I was contending with made it impossible foe me to upload scanned card images. It is all removed and I am back to normal. I wend into Control Panel - Add / Remove Programs and removed all programs that should not be there. Then I downloaded and ran Malwarebytes Anti- Malware and this scan cleaned the computer of all the malicious advertising software. So anyone who is getting fully motion video and sound advertising on the Trading Card Database most like has some adware programs on their computer that is causing this and you may want to do what I did and free yourself from this.
