Jumping in here, thank you both for your service. My dad spent 6 years in the Navy, and both grandfathers served as well (one in the Army and one in the Air Force). I myself am a member of the Sons of the American Legion and a legion baseball coach, so my appreciation and respect for the military runs deep. God bless you both and any other veterans we have on this site.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Wow! 2 million scans is quite an accomplishment. Congrats to TCDB and it's users!
I have to mention thst since joining earlier this year my experience has been great. I hope to contribute more scans as I continue to catalogue my collection, especially my John Olerud cards.

Busy weekend, so I've been out of it here a bit. Hit the 2 million. With former Bear (my team, alas) and current Wolverine (my kid's team, yay) Jim Harbaugh. Great work by everyone and hats off to the Admin.

I was just looking at my own page before I log off for the night and actually go to bed (wasted hours! I could be scanning...) but it appears I also hit 90,000 basketball contributions yesterday...err, day before now, as it's after 2 AM.
That's actually two big personal milestones, and I'm not done posting yet...though the end is near...the "basketball cards in your collection missing images" is down to 59 pages...I can see the end in sight.
I concur on the military matters as well. Although health prevented me from ever considering that, my family has played a very active role in the American military...Canadian, British, French as well...at least one family member has taken part in every war we've had, from the French & Indian war of the 1760s right up to the current one in the Middle East. A direct ancestor took part in the battle of Lexington and Concord. I have my father's father's bag from WWII (with his name on it) in my collection. Thank you all.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
