Just a note to those who trade and ship via US Mail. Those packages that used to cost $2.67 to send are now an even $3.00 . Not sure what else has gone up, stamps are the same. It's kinda funny because even the clerk didn't realize new pricing went into effect until she got to work this morning.

So it wasn't my imagination then. I sent a bunch of stuff out this morning and saw the change. When I questioned the clerk the place was swamped and she didn't bother to answer.

Oh they give a flying crap when you try to use the official USPS app on your phone and try to scan the bar code instead of typing all the digits of the tracking number. They go ballistic citing some ancient wives tale that you can't take pictures in a federal building. Pisses me off every time the ignorance they show and their lack of training of modern technology and knowledge their own app. It's like they go out of the way to show you that customer service is not a priority. Still have yet to see where the "law" against pictures in a federal building exists. Policy and law are 2 different things and last I checked, most monuments and federal parks are federal building and photos are encouraged. There is no reason whatsoever to prohibit taking a photo in a post office. That and reading a bar code is NOT capturing an image! I use the self serve kiosk whenever I can and...shhhhh...scan the bar code after I print the label...inside the post office! Lock me up.
End rant. Sorry. I actually have no issue with the postage increase. Especially if the clerks received training and they stopped the no photo ignorance/nonsense.

Yes, I was in last week and the clerk mentioned that it went up. Though it seems they didnt notify their employees. The prices just "went up". Btw, their website is horrendous

Can't take a photo in a Post Office ?!?!?! Man you guys live like its still the Wild West down there!!! We are much more civilized, my Martha she even rides a bike............. with pants!!!! =D
