After the 1st paragraph, I wanted to look into Deans Cards, because I typically go to Cincinnati a couple times a year. Paragraph 3 changed my mind!

I do believe the "Remote" Canadian warehouse is in Vancouver of all places!! They were at the show in Sherwood Park (Edmonton) and the fellow there told me I think. It makes sense as then they can shutter cards back and forth the border quite easily and for much less than say it being in Toronto. But then again I could have dreamed the whole thing. =)

it is Vancouver. They have it close to the main base to make it better to ship to Canadian customers. It was on their blog at one point.

regarding dean's, I do not automatically tune them out, as many prices are way above market value...but I do buy from them occasionally when they have a lower grade card I need at a decent price.

it seems like when they have many copies of a card in a specific grade, their price is lower, and when they get down to last one or two in their stock, they raise the price alot..

I can see how it can be frustrating to have them always end up in searches for those that have automatic searches done, but I do not really have need to use that function so their vast inventory does not really affect me..

Good to know. Maybe I've been unknowingly blocking myself from decent deals.

And that is why I had said before to all to do their own research. You never know. They could be great with pre-Bowman stuff (but since I haven't entered that market yet, I wouldn't know).
