Agreed, but why can't there still be cards put into game programs or other non-profit sets (like the WVU Hospital ones)?

Rugby cards would be cool but it would be hard to do any type of stats per player.
More olympic cards would be nice in the various sports. Different small sets for each sport.

I was hoping with Bernie Eccleston leaving Formula 1 there would some kinda F1 card product out there, haven't seen one yet. Other than that I would like to see a USL set produced, MLS gets sets why not USL? I would probably buy Cricket cards too, .

Because the courts sided with the athletes that wanted to be compensated for the use of their images. And since student athletes being paid (compensated) is a violation of NCAA rules...no cards.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

American Ninja Warrior. Seriously card companies are missing out on a gold mine here.

They use their likeness in a program. That's my line of thinking. But what do I know?

Absolutely agree that more Olympic sport cards are needed - curling and water polo...
Would like to see some horse racing cards. Being a jockey is arguably the most dangerous job in professional sports.

Peace and cards, David Building up baseball sets slowly but, well, slowly. Residence in New England has no bearing on my favorite teams, players, or how I pronounce "card." Forgave my dad for putting his '52 Mantle in his bike spokes, but not my brother for plastering his room with my Star Wars stickers.

I'm sure it's all about the MONEY. While the NCAA, colleges, and athletes fight about it; the fans and collectors suffer.

The two sports I was thinking have already been said. Golf and the WNBA.
There are several golfers I collect who haven't had new cards made in years. One of them just won a tournament and their last card was produced in 2003! Phil Mickelson's last Upper Deck card was produced in 2002. (His Rookie Card year)
I also wish Rittenhouse did not have the exclusive license for the WNBA. I miss the good ole days with the several different sets of the WNBA. It would be nice to see a WNBA Hoops set again or a WNBA Prizm set for the first time. I'm not spending $170 for a complete set. Also the prices on eBay for singles seems to be high, especially shipping.
