Are card numbers 501-600 considered to be SP's? I wanted to acquire a new hockey set after not having gotten one in a few years but as a completist I was wondering if these are indeed short prints. It is not listed as such on the site's checklist. Thanks for any help.

Cardboard Connection calls them SP. The overall odds for #501-600 is 1:2 packs.

In most of the newer OPC set, 501-600 are either SP rookies or like a Legends-type of short printed subset.

That's exactly correct. The insertion odds for the jumbo (fat) packs is 3:1 (three in each pack). All the other pack types are 1:2.

They call them SP but I have seen people getting three per retail jumbo pack...not really SP much.

I have not been able to get my hands on any yet. I chose to go on my first family vacation since I almost died (which, of course, is where I met you, Chuck) and it has not left money for cards. Good to know that if/when I do eventually get these there are stated odds. I love stated odds, even though I usually don't remember them too much, other than 1 per box, which I usually remember, for some reason.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I've been looking for retail O-Pee-Chees since they were released. All I've found is one Target that has eight-card packs at $1.99. I tweeted at Upper Deck asking about blasters and they told me those are exclusive to Canada.

Second year of no OPC here, in Canada they are over $90 for a hobby box .............. was the reason I quit the first time around. OPC is NOT worth $90 / box. Ridiculous!! And over $30 for our "exclusive to Canada" Blaster Boxes is stupid too. I was paying $40 / box three years ago and now they have doubled. BAH.

Ouch.
And I thought that $70 for a hobby box here was high...
