Does anyone here know what authentication service the following serial number #UDP16739 might have come from?  I just acquired a small hodge podge collection of cards and memorabilia, and included was a hockey puck.  The guy I bought it from thought it was just a gimmick thing.  However, after researching it, it appears to be a Gordie Howe signed Game-Used puck.  And the affixed sticker seems to suggest that as well, and the signature is 100% identical to every signature of Howe's that I've seen, both in person and during research.  However, I can't find any authentication services that use UDP in their serial numbering so I can't be 100% sure it's legit.  I'm trying to find who authenticated it, and if they are still around so I can check its authenticity if possible.

I find 2 or 3 online, they're all also Howe, sold by the same guy, on a website full of broken links.  For what it's worth.

What shape is the sticker? Upper Deck uses a stretched oval. Might be what the UD stands for?

It is a stretched oval shape, but the other Upper Deck stuff I've seen either just has UD for Upper Deck, or UDA for Upper Deck Authentics.  I suppose it wouldn't hurt to contact Upper Deck to see if maybe this is an older one of theirs.

Thanks for the help Billy!  It turns out it was an Upper Deck sticker, it was just a much older one so it wasn't listed in their database that you can check on-line.  I already got a response from them today saying that it was one of their stickers and that the product is an authentic Gordie Howe signed game-used puck.  Pretty awesome find considering I only spent $10 on the whole collection which also included two different over-sized serial numbered cards with over a dozen of each (a Wayne Gretzky Upper Deck Authentics 2,500th point card numbered to 5,000 that had 25 of them, and a Dan Marino/Joe Montana Upper Deck Authentics Super Bowl card numbered to 10,000 that had 45 of them), among many other cards and items.

Crap! And all I can find on Kijjijji is people selling 500 1991 Donruss for $100 as "old vintage and rare."
