Hypothetical situation... card front (non-sports card) has no wording, card back has short paragraph (which the first few words are listed as "title" for card), checklist card has wording different from the first few words of short paragraph... What is the correct wording to use for the card? I'd say what the checklist card has, even though that wording is not on the card. Thanks, Jerro

I would say manufacturer's "name" goes somewhere for sure, be it in Note or Note2, If the title is not on the card it is impossible to know without everything in hand, set listing, card and checklist. So I would go with what is on card as title and in Note2 type Checklist Reference - blah blah blah .................. or something to that effect. But then again I'm just a hockey guy who still needs help from time to time! LOL

Not hypothetical. I've come across set checklists like that. The card company puts more of a scene description on their checklists. I prefer some wording that is actually on the card, so I know I have the correct card.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

ranfordfan got it right.
Use what's on the card. If someone has the lone card in hand, and is trying to figure out just what they have, if we use what's on the checklist, they won't find it!
Having the info from the checklist in the Note2 field at least keeps that info handy.

OK, maybe I shouldn't have said (typed?) hypothetical...cause I'm currently looking at a set that has this situation. Yeah, having a title of words on the card is helpful... will add what the checklist says to Note 2 as Ranfordfan suggests.

Checklist cards are #s 59 and 60 of this 101 card set.
Check titles for cards #37 through 43 as examples.

I only looked at the first 4 cards, but what I see on the actual card, on the checklist card, and what we have in the database all match.
If the rest of the set looks like that, I don't know what the problem is. The caption I see is on the top of the back of the card. Am I missing something?
