The 1991, 1992 and 1993 TSR Advanced Dungeons & Dragons sets have a Gold Border Set which came from individual packs/boxes and also a Silver Border Set that was a full set Factory box.
The Gold Border Sets would take priority in being the Base Set and the Factory Set (Silver Border) would be the Parallel Set correct?
If so then the Base Cards for the 1991 set (which are all Silver) should be moved to a Parallel set and the Gold Parellel Set should be changed to the Base set.

OK, sorry, nevermind... upon further research, I'm not sure which should be the Base and which should be the parallel... and the work was NOT for nothing!! we still need scans for all the Silver bordered cards. Thank you for adding them... that is less images I would of had to upload... by the way, I guess my 1991 cards are all the Silver Border cards also... SMILES.

After thinking it over some more, I realize that I may have been mistaken. I set an inquiry to administration to let them determine what to do. This is what I sent:
"Hello,
A suggestion that the current base set should be a parallel of the gold set. The gold set was the retail set, and the silver set was the factory set. It was suggested that the factory set is a parallel of the gold retail set. Note that only the factory set has all 750 cards listed. The gold set doesn't start until card 18. If that suggestion is correct, then the 1991 TSR Dungeons and Dragons set's base checklist and the parallel set will have to be swapped.
It was my understanding that this set was different than a normal set, which is why I determined the retail gold bordered cards as the parallel of the factory set. I do apologize if this is incorrect."
In hindsight, I rationalized this set's odd circumstances incorrectly. Many apologies.

For comparisions sake. The 1992 Upper Deck baseball set comes in two forms. The regualr pack set was issued with the silver hologram on the back. When the factory set was released it feaured a gold hologram. The factory set/gold hologram has been listed as a parallel set in here.

Yep, that is a good example Jimetal7212, and I now see that was what Jerro and Billy Kingsley were saying, but I was to involved with this set, and got hard headed about it. Pit of Misery for me, dilly, dilly.

Looks like administration fixed the set. The factory set is now the parallel of the retail set. I'll try and remember that next time I see that kind of curveball.
