I hate to pick at an old scab, and I swear I understand that pricing on this site shouldn't be taken as gold, but can we please restrict various individuals who are chronic abusers of posting ridiculous prices. I don't want to call names, but almost all modern football sets are so badly mispriced. I am inputting my 2016 Donruss football, and apparently, I hit the jackpot. It looks like I should have paid $2,500 for the box I bought for $24. Almost every single rookie is near double digits. The Zeke Elliott rookie is $40 and the Wentz is $32.50.
It is the same two individuals exclusively posting these prices on all modern footballn cards. I am not sure if they are from Mexico and inputting these prices in pesos, but come on. It really distorts the site and abuses one of the features that really can acccentuate the site. Inaccurate pricing is one thing if it is even somewhat close, but seriously. I can only hope that somehow these were misunderstood input errors. Adding info to this site should be considered a privilage, and should people should be somewaht responsible when posting information that is going to effect so many on the site.
I know it would be a great burden, but maybe only a select few individuals should be allowed to "approve" pricing prior to it posting on the site. This wouldn't be foolproof, but it would have to help. I think this box of Donruss cards just increased my football collection by about $7,000.
I apologize for my rant, it is late and I am tired, so I will probably regret this, since I have never complained about anything really on the site. It is just getting frustrating because if nothing else, I would like the pricing to at least help me identify cards I should consider looking into and maybe putting in a top loader and I cannot because every single rated rookieis $8 or $9.
