On a FB trade/sell site a guy was asking for 2017 topps any set commons.  I told him that i had about 450 heritage that i wanted to sell.  I gave him a price of $60 with shipping.  which would be about .15 per card and then even less when you figure in the cost of shipping those cards. I would estimate it would cost about $10 so lower the price per card to about $.10.  

This guy was outraged. stated he gets 2017 heritage commons for .02-.08 all day.  Now i have never seen that and had recently purchased some for $.25 from a previous poster on that site.  On sports lots (there are barely lots of 2017) but individual prices are .18 + shipping.  

Whose closer in reality?  I would like to unload a lot of my bulk, but dont want to get scammed.  

BTW, i have broken off talks with him when he couldnt give me sites or places that he gets them for that low.

When I've pviked up a few commons it's usually been in the 10-20 cent range. Usually if it's more than a couple it'll b a little lower (bulk purchase), but never that low. I'd don't know of anyone that would go that low unless that person scammed them off someone else. The lowest on cardbarrel, for example, is 13 cents. As always, better to walk away.

Your price seemed fair unless there are a lot of duplicates. Sportlots minimum pricing is .18 and the seller wouldnt receive all of that money since fees are charged also.

Your pricing is reasonable, but I would like to know where that guy is buying his cards from!

 If he can get them for .02 - .08   then why is still looking for cards?  Sounds as though he wants them  for free.

The oods are he is a reseller.  He needs to get them at that price to make any profit.  You see it all the time on other sites "buying" then you look at they prices and go "NO WAY"  but they are getting cards for these prices.  I love to get ahold of these guys and ask if the would sell me cards at a little more then what they purcahsed them for.   Some say 'NO WAY" but I have gotten some cards by doing this.  One guy buys only numbered cards at .15 and sold 49 of them (couple of low #s) to me at .25 each plus shipping $3.75.  

The card you purchased for .25 may have been one of his.
