Me too jimmyak?? - I have 65k to enter tho! I can't pull all from toploaders, card savers, pages and magnetic cases to scan them either, that takes a long time and I do like you, run across a Ripken Jr. and then MLB is playing the Player Profiles that are an hour long so I watch those and days fly. I NEED AN APP OR PROGRAM TO BEST PRESENT THE COLLECTION TOO. I don't wanna add all here and not be able to easily put into a spreadsheet or some form of backup and it might do that but being Disabled Vet/Civvie I literally buy about $30/mth in ebay wins or trusted sellers just to look forward to something coming I need or wanted, the rush of Hobby Shop pack rips or boxes faded in BAMA years ago, no shops in 150 mile radius.

I bought cards 38 yrs bow & didn't sort them so that I would have them later to go thru and find Gems and I am but my son doesn't collect and I'm a 4th generation myself. So I have 64k + to collate and after 7 months of 10 he days I'm almmost done but not taking pics or scans yet. I'm not pullingcards that have been in sleeves and cases since the 83 season or later just to scan them, each time you handle them you risk damage.

Had another question/issue that might have been addessed previously so I did not want to create another thread on here.

Everytime I switch between logging into the site using my phone or computer it rejects my password and I have to reset it. If I login with my computer, all day it is fine and keeps me logged in, but as soon as I then go to the site form my phone, it rejects my password, and then also rejects my passwor don the computer. It has happened 9 time sin the last 3 days. Is anyone else having this issue?

I've never had that myself.  I use 3 different devices frequently 

If you just go back to the home page it fixes that. It resets 5:17 AM EST every day. Been doing it since I've been a member.

U get notifications in email, I do and I'm fairly new too. The forums have a "subscribe" link to check if you want to follow it and if you start it you should get an email alert too. I haven't had the time to do much either bcz I'm sorting 65k cards from 45 years of collecting and not having them in order by sport or team or player except for a few and I did that by design. I wanted to have them in my later years to look back thru with my son or maybe a grandchild sometime and find those GEMS all over again. I have been at it for 10 hours a day since July of 17 & I'm just now ending the sorting by hand & by sport, team, # or subset etc. I've found cards that (all mine were in sleeves, most in top loaders, some in books etc but all protected and untouched from back in 83 to date!! I have found cards selling for $2K or up on eBay that I would have never thought would demand that kind of money. If like me you search card values on eBay by using the search bar you won't find many that are singles or ungraded that are worth over $20 or so unless they are vintage. I was let down when I saw the deflated prices or values BUT adding just "PSA" to a search there will allow cards graded to come up & it will have you excited for sure if your items are pack fresh as most all mine are. I have up to 10 or more RC in every sport as to duplicates that demand over  $100 each easily with a PSA 10 And many with PSA 8 over $25 so don't get discouraged if ya think the prices here are not what you value them at. These are based on trade values more than investing but it's still good to know....

Thanks Bama. I pretty much know the value of all of my cards at this point. It was shocking in the earlier 2010's when I checked all my cards form 80s-90s. Those were part of my retirement plan growing up lol. I collected from mid 80s through about '95. Then dropped off until about '08. Got back into a lot more more recently, probably 2013 or so. I donated a couple thousand cards that my parents had in the attic to different card related charities I found through twitter, e.g. Commons4Kids, Signatures4Soldiers or just random giveaways. These days I am more about quality than quantity because I don't have the room or toleration of a wife lol for boxes and boxes of cards scattered throughout the house.

I have purchased plenty of graded cards, but never graded myself.  I think that has more to do with fear of bad grades, or a mix of being too critical of my own ability to judge/and too critical of what i think perfection should look like.

Almost everyday I look at different listings across the major selling sites of a 1967 Topps Tom Seaver RC PSA7. That is currently 1 of the 2 cards I have set as my 2018 collecting goals.
