I'd prefer just cards or card-related publications. It is the TRADING CARD database after all. Nothing against the other stuff, but I think that should be another site altogether.

There is one place, Hobby DB, that claims to have a goal of cataloging all collectibles. Similar to TCDB, it is all crowdsourced information. I've never quite gotten the hang of their interface though. My only experience with them is that they bought the South Texas Diecast database of Hot Wheels cars, assimilated it into their platform, and basically made it unusable to me.
They do have an area for Starting Lineup, McFarlane, and the like, but it doesn't appear to have much information yet. Maybe if you wanted to champion the subject it could become the resource you are looking for.

I think a sports figure archive would be awesome. But, short of that there is a complete Kenner Starting Lineup Archive Book. It's pretty good. I've owned 2 copies throughout the years (one in mid SLU craze and one for the good memories. It photographs every SLU and has a write-up for each year and sport. I bet you can find it for cheap if you are interested.
Ok, just went and got it off the shelf. It's called "Tuff Stuff's Complete Guide to Starting Lineup" by Jim Warren

I used to buy tuff stuff magazine in which amongst the card listings and values were the starting lineups... I guess they kind of went hand in hand in my mind. They do come with cards packaged also.. I can see how you may want to avoid gray areas such as this tho so later you don't have to open the floodgates to autographed materials like balls and bats and photos and then jerseys and cleats etc.. Then cups, steins, plates, coins etc.. I do understand avoiding all of that.. I just think of starting lineups in a different light that fit together with the cards

The cards themselves are cataloged here. The actual figures themselves, however, are not.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

For online "collection" tracking of things that don't have a real database there are some generic listing sites. A few years back when I had to look for a new DVD collection tracking site, from one that had closed down, one of the sites I found was "listal.com" which was OK for what it is.

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies). My Trade List is very much a work in progress CaptKirk42s Trading Card Blog Curly W Cards Strive For '65 YouTube klandersen42

I hate to open a conversation that has been had many times, and has been determined to be "settled policy." [although I have never taken part in those discussions, and I'm a big fan of stirring the pot]
Since Roe v Wade just got overturned by SCOTUS, and that was "settled law" .... I'll post a comment, and bring this discussin forward.
SLU's were sold as figurines with a card as a pairing. And I think for most, it was viewed as an afterthought. TCDb lists the card in the database, but not the figure.
What about an unopened package the card and figure still together? [or, as referred to here on TCDb, "unopened material"] I for one, never opened any of the 10 or so SLU packages I picked up.
I'm thinking that there is a place here on TCDb for the unopened .... maybe as a parallel set?
