Team Identification 1949 Bowman Cubs

I was entering my Cubs collection into the 1949 Bowman set. I ran into a few issues and want to be sure what I've done is correct. Originally #130 Harry Walker was listed as a Phillie. From my understanding (having just recently acquiring access to team editing)

The team named on the card is the one that should be associated with the card.
If a player is wearing a jersey that differs than the team named on the card, the team associated with the card should be the team named on the card.

Given that there are no team associations indicated on the card fronts (other than the team pictured) it was my assessment that the team name indicated would be the team named on the back of the card and therefore this card's team name was incorrectly indicated.

If my actions were correct then card #99 Frank Gustine should also have his team edited to the Cubs. Please let me know if these assements are correct before I make any further adjustments. I didn't think I'd run into examples of these anomalies right after achieving the power to edit them and I don't want to abuse my permissions without being certain.

You are correct. No worries about it being wrong, the team being given on only one side is still the team being given.

Thanks for the verification Billy. Just wanted the thumbs up on my understanding before I go changing everything here. I just want the site to be as accurate (to the site's interpretations and rules) as possible.

Now that raises the question for a 2007 Topps Updates and Traded card.

UH40 Chris Denorfia UER - Oakland Athletics All the info on front of card is wrong (Player name and team) and where the back is correct. We do have this card listed and noted as UER

Back in Jan This card was changed from PHILLIES (front) to Athletics (back)

This is a wierd exception, based on the fact that the team and player's name are "printed" using foil. Granted, all the cards are done incorrectly. The cards Lerzst2112 brings up are not mistakes. These cards were intentionally labeled with the players' new teams (and are not labelled on the front at all).

As this one is just a complete bungle, and never corrected, it is not a Carlos Carrasco card, and should not be considered a Phillies card.
