Yes, Celticwolfco mentions another example I left out. Pierre Garçon's PID is driving me nuts because the correct spelling of his name requires a letter that isn't on a standard American keyboard and requires ALT-0231 to type. Some people do this when they enter checklists and others don't. But only one matches the PID, so a lot of his cards aren't linked to his PID unless somebody matched them manually.
I don't know how many people do name matching in the "Things To Do" section, but I do it a lot from my tablet when I'm watching TV, and there are a lot of sets that would be finished if not for Pierre and his ç .

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
Admin: Found a small thing that's not a big deal, just something that only *I* would notice.
At the bottom of each card's page, there are links to find the card for sale. The one for Sportlots current reads Sportslots (extra s there to make it sports and not sport). Silly, yes. But that's me. :)

Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 3/4/2024). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned on (details are in my profile).
From the Overview pages of Sets, Persons, or Teams, you can now click on the star icon at the top of the page (see example below) to add it to your Favorites list. Items added to your Favorites list will be displayed on your profile below your Friends list. Thanks to Gunny for suggesting this feature.
NFL and CFL. Separate. Hard to find CFL players. Not listed under names. CFL teams not listed. Grrr! I cannot work in these conditions!!!! My mind going spoof!!
In all seriousness... the CFL is just as big here as the NFL is there. It would be nice to be able to easily acess the information by either including CFL players and teams in football listings OR creating a separate section under the football heading for CFL and NFL with their corresponding lists.
example...
Football-
CFL-
Sets
Name
Team
NFL-
Sets
Name
Team

The difference between Hoarding and Collecting is Structure.
........Sometimes I'm just not that bright, ok? lol. player names are not included though. Either that or the players I had been looking up were not in the database yet...

True there aren't many CFL players with PIDs yet, but that can easily be fixed in the Things To Do section. I did a few last week myself. One of the things I can do on here from my tablet with ease.

I know there are others like myself that collect players from specific colleges. Personally, I collect football and basketball players from Syracuse University. Could a "College" field be added so we'd be able to find all players from a specific school?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
Would it be possible to extend the Top 100 rank of players in my collection, on my stats page, to show all players in my collection? I can't find a way to see exactly how many total cards I have of a player, unless they are in my Top 100 of their given sport. The individual player "Collection Summary" pages show how many different cards, but doesn't account for duplicates. I don't want to mess with that at all, as that is useful information too. Basically, I want to know exactly how many players I have at least nine cards of to organize my binder better.
To be clear, I don't want the lists combined. Lists should still be kept separate by sport, as they are now. I would just like to be able to see more than the Top 100, if that is feasible. And please point it out if this information is already available.
Thank you.

In addition to being able to edit card numbers, I'll just go ahead and request the ability to edit set names & dates. This is mainly because of all the errors I'm making as I quickly backfill all the missing Japanese sets, and it would ultimately save the Admin my bombardment of "please fix my mistakes" emails.
I would also like to request an "alias" option for players who go by more than one name, or who might have multiple spellings that are frequently used (loads of Japanese players whose names start with, or end with, the letter 'O', can usually be found both with and without an "H" following the "O". That leds to lots of instances of "Takahiro Saitoh" vs "Takahiro Saito" or "Keiji Ohbiki" vs "Keiji Obiki". There are also instances where Taiwanese players use their actual name in the CPBL, but a modified version of it in Japan, such as Dai-Kang Yang (CPBL) vs Daikan Yoh (NPB) or Tai-Yuan Kuo (CPBL) vs Taigen Kaku (NPB). Somewhere in the background, you've already taken care of a few of these, like Karl Rhodes vs Tuffy Rhodes.
