I've been clearing up alot of the glossary / abbrieviation list and noticed a couple things, not sure if i overlooked something or if admin can add a function to make it easier:
1. Clear glossary- yes this funciton is on the edit page when changing the notes, but I've noticed that other ppl have corrected the notes, but did not clear the glossary leaving the left overs on the Glossary Of Abbreviation page. In some cases especially when it comes to SN's there are numberous left over and you have to delete each one. How about also putting that radial button clear glossary after clicking the edit link or on the Glossary of Abbrev page for those who have permissions?
2. also, i haven't seen the Edit link for the base set- it's there for all the inserts and parralell sets but when editing the notes on all the base cards, i haven't seen a way to edit the whole set, vice each one. Did i over look something on that?

Hey Admins,
A suggestion to think about. Would it be possible to add some option to adding a whole set to your collection at one time instead of having to add cards individually from their separate pages. Maybe like having a check box next to the cards on the checklist so you can go down the checklist and just tick the cards you want to add and maybe up top a check all for the whole page. Another option could be having an option on the side like "Add all cards from this set to your collection" I think this option would work great for player checklist too instead of having to go into each card separately to add them. And there might be something we can do for team checklists as well.
Just an idea, keep up the good work.

Oh and my other suggestion, when doing a printable checklist I notice sometimes, especially with player checklists, that a lot of information gets cut off with the double column format. Would it be possible to make the information wrap to the next line instead of getting cut off, or perhaps allowing single column checklists?

I've been adding complete sets for a while now - you have to click the "Collection Summary" link (upper right) for the set, then "Add / Update" link under the Cards heading. Once on that page, look in the list where it says "Choose an action..." - First option is "Add all cards in this set to your collection". There are several other useful items in there too.

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 3/4/2024). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned on (details are in my profile).

One thing that would be helpful would be the ability to add notes to a portion of a set only. For example, a lot of sets in the last 15 years have issued RCs with serially numbering, which mostly is not included on the Database. Right now the only way to it is manually, for each card.
Another helpful feature would be to copy teams to a base set. There are about a dozen sets I know of where I entered all the teams correctly with a parallel when I uploaded the checklist, but the base set has no teams listed.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Buddha, an additional option, if you have most of a set but lack a card or two, is in the drop menu beside the check box for a specific card. You can click "add from here" Say there's a 500 card set, and you have all but #355. You could go to card #1, click "Add From Here", it brings up a screen where you can add all the cards from 1-354. Go back to the checklist, do the same thing with card #356, "Add from here" to 500, and there you have it. 499 cards are in your collection real quick, with #355 still unchecked. I use this feature a lot. Combined with the "Don't Haves" checklist view option, it makes adding partial sets in sequential order very quick.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Hey switzr I see your reply above and cant make sense of where or how you do that, I have never tried adding a set because I thought I had to do it card by card. Can sombody maybe start a thread for that for us people who are easily lost and confused!! Thanks if you do. Tried a PM but alas no luck.
