I hate when Topps pulls this sort of thing. Especially the thing with the Revolution of the Game 10 card insert set. The numbering is really messed up with no number 1 or 4 and two 7s.
How many kids (or adult collectors) are going to remember all this junk when opening packs? Some poor kid will pul a number REV-11 card from the Revolution of the Game set and think "OK this insert set has at least 11 cards in it". Then sometime later they will find two number 7s and think "WTH?"
You would think they could work out these problems before they actually printed any of the damn cards.
This stuff frustrates me so much at times I feel like throwing in the towel on collecting, but I know I never will completely. Mostly because it takes me so long to get any set completed let alone chasing the insert sets I want to chase.
I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies).
My Trade List is very much a work in progress
