Hey there all, was just going over what new Ranford cards had been added and I noticed that somebody has been updating the Notes fields of the 14-15 hockey sets. Just a reminder to whoever is helping out that the Permissions section states that they must be capitalized. I think they mean the entire note. Not trying to be mean just helpful. "Mem" should be "MEM" I am pretty certain, if I am incorrect guys please let me know. For if I am correct that means someone has to correct it again.

Agreed. While you've broached the subject, there are also rules about what team goes on the card. If there is no Pro affiliation, it needs to be the school, minor league team, etc that is named. Very frustrating seeing "Atlanta Falcons" on a Matt Ryan card that has a HUGE BC on the front of it... If I was a betting man, I would bet that most of us on here have a certain level of OCD and it's the little things that drive us crazy. Please, if you've taken the time to test out to receive the permissions to edit; take the time to follow the rules.

 Also trying to be helpful - not mean. One thing also that bugs me is that when someone loads a relatively recent checklist without a team name. Very frustrating if you are a collector of team sets to know what cards are for that team. Also if the card has a prefix like HRO-1 put that in also - dont just type 1.

My turn to vent about my biggest pet peeve...checklists for cards with no numbers.  Guidelines are clear; "NNO", and only "NNO", is to be used for cards with no numbers.  It irks me to see checklists with card numbers when the cards actually have no numbers. 

togtigersfan is so right.  I have spent many an hour (hours) researching and adding teams to checklists.  And have seen way too many checklists missing the card number prefixes.

The add team option is something that might benefit from a better interface that would allow setting multiple cards on a single page without all the individual saves and refreshes.  Maybe something where you could list 50 or 100 cards on a screen, set the team for all of them, and click submit once.  For that matter, the same would be helpful for adding cards to our collections.  Too many screen reloads/refreshes seriously slows down the whole process of using the site.

DaClyde you are dead-on. There are some areas that could use streamlining to speed-up the process.

If there was a way to use the format of the Cards In My Collection Missing Teams page in the Team Validation page, it would solve everything where speeding up the team process is concerned.

If you go to a set's page and click on "Teams", there is a utility to set the team for multiple cards at once.

Well jimmyjam solved the problem there. The thing we were asking for already exists! Thanks for pointing it out! And way to go Admin, for having this in place already!
