I'm not sure what the reason could be, and it does happen primarily with our new members.....when I get a trade offer, I don't have time to get out of the recliner and the offer is withdrawn. lol
Does that happen to you?

I have had that happen from time to time but not frequently. I had a guy one time make me an offer and 24 hours later pull it stating that waiting for 5 days was long enough so I assumed he was on a special planet where time moved more quickly. I was actually a little ticked off by the fact that he stated the offer was out there 5 times longer than it was so I responded and explained how time worked and never dealt with him again.
I don't mind it if someone makes an offer and pulls it in short notice because they want to move on to someone else who has the card(s) available. I guess we all have to go at what pace fits our lives. It does seem new members are less patient and heck, I think I was that way when I started too.

We are all busy so sometimes getting to a trade can take a couple of days. I think most of us understand that. But for myself, if I receive a trade offer that I cannot get to in a reasonable time, I will message the other member and tell him it might be a couple of days. I have a problem with someone who, when asked if he will trade across the border and he responds to go ahead and send the offer so I do, I get crickets. After 5 days, I withdrew it and will not trade with such an individual no matter how often he posts that he is looking for trades.

It happens to me I don't let it get u see my skin but if he lied about how many days it took that tells me he would also lie about a trade so I put him / her on my do not trade list. Also if he explains that was meant for another trader I might let it go as well as long as he apologizes to me first

I'm not always the fastest at replying to trade offers (want to pull first to make sure I have them/other things going on/not sure I like the offer/etc.etc.etc.), so if an offer gets pulled I usually feel like its my fault.
But I had an offer pulled after (I think it was) 17 hours. Thought that was awfully fast.

I offered a trade once for some cards and then I was offered a trade for the cards I was looking for plus others. I msged member explained that, and he declined trade saying it was okay. I sent him part of trade as a thank you

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

I have to apologize for not being able to respond to trade offers very quickly lately. Lots going on here, still working full time. Add to that the fact that I just made a trade where the other person never received his cards (first time in 400 trades), so, before I accept or even look at any other offers, I am going to get that problem corrected first. If an offer is withdrawn from me, i understand, and please don't take it personally.

And you also got the opposite end: someone who click "counter" and never complete it. The transaction stays in grey italics forever in your proposed column and it cannot be deleted or anything.

That one is bothersome to me, but I don't hold it against the person, it's more my OCD and impatience more than anything.
It's almost like seeing the circling icon when you have a slow internet connection.
