Don't know when this change happened, but I just scanned some cards into the site, and I LOVE the fact that I get to immediately crop, rotate, accept and submit them. And my points increase seems to be automated as well. (What's above starter? All-Star?) You guys really do a good job on this site.

V3, once you show Admin that you know what you are doingin the scanning, cropping and submitting of images, they allow you to accept them. Obviously, you have now proven yourself to them. And yes the points go up every card image you submit. You get 1 for a front image and 2 for a back image. Since I started submitting images, I have seen my points rise dramatically. It is the easiest way to accumulate points. i found this weird as it takes only a couple of minutes for submitting images (I can scan, crop and submit 7 in about ten minutes - 21 points) but if I enter a checklist that might take over a half hour to do, I get 5 points. But the points is only a personal thing and really has little meaning so no matter. Making this site even more informative through checklists and scanned images is the real goal.

I don't know sandyrusty, I was thinking that it is one point for a front or back picture, or three points if you do both. Now I'm going to check that out the next time I'm uploading images. If your assessment is correct, then someone can get 33% more points for the same amount of work if they only work on back pictures.

I think the backs are worth more because so many of the cards have fronts but not backs. It looks to be an incentive to get the backs posted.

I wish we got points for other "to do" stuff like DOBs and PIDs, would be much more motivated that way

I think there are points added by admin at end of month for the other stuff like that Barlow. Seems like it came up before and Admin told us.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I just got three points for scanning the front and back of a card, cropping it, and putting it on the site.
Only about 600,000 more to catch the leader....

You are mistaken Tom. A back scan is two points even without the front scan. I assume that's b/c it's really easy to go to ebay, Beckett, etc. and find a front scan, but you pretty much need to have the card to post a back scan. I have spent way more time posting back scans than fronts b/c there are so many more of those missing.

I'm pretty sure that Checklists are worth 15 points, not 5 points.

It may vary with the size of the checklist. I entered mostly oddball or insert types so much smaller than the 700+ sets.
