Is there any reason Sports Illustrated isn't here in our publications? I can do the work in finding out the articles if can be added.

Pretty sure it has to do with SI not being a collecting publication, but a sports news one. Can't access FAQ right now, but I think it's along those lines.

Sorry if I'm overlooking something obvious, but where are publications found on the site?

When you click on a sport you'll see Set, Names (and all the options therein), Teams and then Hobby Publications

This question was asked of Admin when the publications were first introduced on the site and as mentioned earlier, it's HOBBY publications. If we add SI, what other magazines can be added in the Non-Sports areas? We're not a magazine database. This is simply to dicument the publications around the hobby, such as SCD, Tuff Stuff, Beckett, etc. If it's not a publication about trading cards, it's not allowed.

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 3/4/2024). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned on (details are in my profile).

...but they made cards (or licensed others to make them). My two cents.

SI for Kids; those magazine images would go in the set's Packaging.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Are we positive about that, that the images would go in packaging? I just ask because it just seem like they are inserts, or a bonus to a magazine. Cards have been placed in DVD cases before but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't put the dvd picture into the packaging of it, becuase they are inserts, or just a bonus to the main thing.
Originally I asked when publications were added about adding SI and SI Kids and Admin replied it was for hobby publications so neither were to be included within the publications. I understood and accepted the decision, and glad they aren't added. Today I don't think either should be included in publications NOR in the packaging.
