Sorry, I'm rather new so bear with me 

I created a user list. I want to add cards to the list. I looked on the FAQ and it said when I go to a card there should be an option to add it to a list, similar to how I would add a card to a collection.

But when I go to a card I don't see that add to list option below. I'm a missing something?

From List manager, check the status of your list with your cursor.  The list must be closed to add to it.  Then go to the card.  You might have to refresh the card if the list was previously open.   You should see the place to add to the list about half way down the page under Comments.
