OK, I've asked before and maybe I'm dense, but I don't remember an honest answer -
How do I get a TCDB T-Shirt?
Did those of you who are sporting them in your profile pics make them yourselves? My profile pic is of my wife's homemade flip flops that were made from cut baseball covers and when we went to a Tiger game about 3 years ago. We go to a few games each year and I'm looking forward to Opening Day next Friday.
Also, I'd love to learn more about this ADMIN fella. Who are you? What do you collect? What drove you to start this? Where are you from? Is this your full time gig? If not, what else do you do? Are you one person, or a group, or a company, or what? Is this site successful for you with the ad revenue, or does it just cover the bills? (I hope so!) I see the 'Store' link at the bottom, so do you have a card shop somewhere, or just virtually? What is the daily traffic on this site? What drove you to create arguably the best trading card site on the internet? I'd love to see more about you in the 'About Us' section.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to buying a T-Shirt or some other TCDB Swag to help support the site.
Thanks again,
Dan

Personally, I prefer Admin to retain his shroud of mystery.
I've wondered about the shirt too. I've seen them in Billy, Jupiter, and Clyde's profile pics.
My profile pic is a Hot Head because I was recently called a Hot Head in the forums, and I thought it was fitting. So did my co-workers when I told them about it. I may change it again soon though. I like to change mine up from time to time.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I don't need all those answers but Mr NJD (nice profile pic) and me were just discussing things like this the other day. I think the Red Shirts are the men in charge ..... we are there minions ............ I CALL STEWART ......... BANANA!!! =)
Hot Head .......... more like Mr Hollywood. LOL Am just curious if you were ever an extra in some really bad B title movie while you lived out there. As for my pic, I have wanted to change it but it is as close to perfection as you can get, my family, Oilers jerseys all over the place and THE best trophy (and most difficlut to win) on the planet!! Just can't do it. =)

Everything in life is a mystery. In fact I once wrote an artist biography (well, a paragraph) for a group called Beautiful Mystery. They broke up soon after, not sure if I had a part in that, but I digress.
I can't give any info on who the Admin is, but I like it that way. As to how I got a shirt, well that is a mystery as well. I presume it was because I added a bunch of scans in a short period, and was randomly selected, but can't really say. The email itself came as a surprise, and was a mystery in itself.
Here is the email: (I hope I don't give up some sort of secret by posting this)

That was my fault, technology passed me by a few years ago, and still learning how to upload photos on here. Also need to learn resizing since I screwed up the thread due to a large photo.

Has anyone received a shirt since you did? I'm real curious now. I have almost twice as many points as you and almost twice as many cards in my collection. I wonder if they just don't have/make shirts anymore. I contribute extensively here but I've only been a member for about 1.5 years now. I'd be happy to have a shirt, even though I don't like red/burgundy. ;-)
