When I complete a transaction it automatically adds the cards im recieving into my collection. Is there a way to stop that? Sometimes the cards i get arent the ones i was supposed to and i have to go back and remove them. Just trying to eliminate an extra step.

No that's the way the system is set up. It's not a problem with the system it's your trading partner who has logged the card incorrectly.

I know its caused from their wrong input. I was just hoping to be able to input it myself to eliminate going back and fixing things.

There is the text option, instead of selecting cards from FS/FT list.....

Believe it was set up for cash sells, but no reason it couldn't be used

to trade......

I would hope that there would only be the odd card in any trade of any size that happened to be the wrong card.  It is a lot easier to change one or 2 cards back to your want list and remove it from your collection than it would be to add all the other cards into your collection.

If you are getting so many wrong cards in trades that the present way is making it cumbersome, then you are trading with the wrong members.

As for the text method, I personally hate getting trades built using that method for cards that are listed here.  Verifying that the cards are actually on your want list and then having to enter each one when you receive it is time consuming. It also does not allow the site to compare other trades and see if the same cards are not repeated in other trades. IMO, it really should only be used for cards that are not listed in the database or offering $$. 

I second what Sandyrusty said.  You shouldn't get too many incorrect cards.  It happens, we are all human but it shouldn't be that frequently.

I find more often than anything I'll get "bonus" unexpected cards (or I'll  slip in a few extras if I have a lot from the other person's want list from years I'm looking to clear out).

Had nearly 150 ebay purchases for Nascar cards...

Gotten two wrong orders...

One was a variant, the one I got didn't match the pic on the listing...

The other was multiple signed Tennis cards when I bought Nascar cards...

Very rare, but when you deal with people who do trades and sales in bulk (100s or 1000s of cards)

Everyone else is being random, so I am going to specifically reply to only you! You can only remove the incorrect cards one at a time and the Transaction Manager helps you keep up with that. You can't eliminate "an extra step" if you AND your trade partner didn't have the cards listed correctly in the beginning. But the Transaction Manager will give you the options to remove those incorrect cards from your Collection. You can also use the Transaction Manager as a way to find the VAR of the card you did receive to add it to you collection and remove the one that you didn't get in the trade!
