Hello fellow TCDB members!

I am writing today to campaign the community and ask your help in upvoting a new feature, adding a one-click "Rainbow Chase" button to make it easier to add all parallels of a single card to your Want list: https://www.tcdb.com/FeatureTracker.cfm?MODE=VIEW&ID=634&PageIndex=1

I will admit this is a selfish request and is related to an effort to cast a wider net to increase trade potential and find ways to spice up the referees-in-the-background project. I have completed my parallel Wants beginning with vintage and gone all the way up to the year 2013, however the number of parallels available begin to dramatically increase around this time and it is becoming quite a challenge to do the work.

I need your help! Please consider upvoting the new feature to help with my selfish project!

PPS Shotout to Admin for all the work in continually making this site better. Whether my selfish request is met or not, I appreciate the constant improvements.

Update:

First, I want to express gratitude 1) to those who took the time read this forum post and 2) to those who took extra time to go and "upvote" the Chase the Rainbow feature proposal. It's ranking has improved!

While I do not expect to be able to acquire the rainbow of each basketball card with a referee on it, I do hope that by adding them all to my Want list, I can aquire some color that otherwise I wouldn't have otherwise realized were available For Trade on the site. The end goal is that in my binder page the front card is the base version and the back of the page is a parallel.

Let's do a little math, pretending that there are 10 cards with a referee featured in each set to demonstrate how this will impact my collecting process.

• In 2012-13 Prizm there are 3 parallels in addition to the base. 10 ref cards in the set x 4 versions of each card = (at least) 40 clicks to add all to my Want list.
• In 2015-16 Prizm there are 13 parallels in addition to the base. 10 cards x 14 versions = 140 clicks.
• In 2021-22 Prizm there are 58 parallels in addition to the base!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 cards x 59 versions = 590 clicks

A one-click "Rainbow Chase" button would go a long way to helping me by saving me clicks and therefore time. Hopefully a feature like this would help some of you, too.

I voted it up because as a team collector that collects cards for players wearing the team jersey, it would be easier to add "traded" players (who are listed as the new team on this site) to my want list.

I am glad to hear this feature would benefit someone else and not only satisfy my own selfish desires lol. Thanks for chiming in and happy collecting!
