As I entered my collection on this site, I was wondering if these should be included as a set. They were foundin Kellogg's Corn Flakes boxes in 1993, in Canada; I am not sure if the USA had the same giveaway in their cereal. I only guess at the date as the set I have has a Rockies and Marlins jersey. They are cloth and about the size of a card other than their shape. Thoughts?

Nice item. Never saw one before. I found this on Ebay " These Jerseys were inserted into specially marked boxes of Canadian Kellogg's Fruit Loops cereal during the 1994 season" The ones on ebay look pretty nice. If I was a fan of one team, I would bid on them.

That's why I think it was a Canadian issue only. Even the Kellogg's card sets were different across the border in the early 90s..

I think they should be included in the site. I used to have tons of these and gave them away as extras in trades.

I would say no on this item being added to the list. This opens up items like felt pennants and other tiems which are not calssified as trading cards. I think they are pretty cool, but there is nothing that indicates that it is a trading card. That is just my two cents.

I'd have to agree....felt pennants, mini helmets, bobbleheads, action figures, etc. None are trading cards. But, Admin would have final say.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I'm with Grim and C2. Awesome collectibles. I would like to have a Cardinals one. But they don't appear to be trading cards, and I don't feel this website is the place for them. I have tons of collectibles besides cards for my favorite teams in various sports, as well as wrestling stuff, but I don't think anything but cards belong on this site.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Add me to the list of the no's. I agree they are cool looking, but they don't really fit the criteria. I know I argued for the inclusion of the mini fathead things mentioned on another post, but they were released in packs. They are something that is a flat piece, which closely resembles cardboard or a trading card. These don't really resemble cardboard, so while I would check them out on ebay, I wouldn't expect to find them on here.

Not sure how I feel on this. I agree we can't have every minor league helmet that french fries come in. Then again, this came in a cereal box, doesn't that legitimize it?

Just to add, anyone who would have some in their collection would store them in either a card holder or in a penny sleeve in a binder, wherever and however they would store their "real" cards.
