When adding cards in bulk (in this case, I'm using "Add by Card Number"), is there a way to have it remove the item from my Want list?

Or, alternately, is there a way to view all items that are both in my collection AND on my want list so I can remove them?

Yes to #2. You can go to your profile and do a trade match against yourself by clicking on the "match items in your collection to items on this member's wantlist" link.

For #1 - Navigate to the set Overview page. Top right of that page click on Collection Summary. This will open a new page with your own personal collection data (Cards you have/Cards in set ; % complete ; Total $ value), under that box there is an Add / Update link, click it. This opens a new page, find a box that states [Choose an option ...] 4th from the top. Click on the down arrow right side of that box, drop down or up window will have many options to choose from. Pick Remove all cards from Wantlist.

Now...how do I make sure when I'm adding cards in the future that I don't end up with items on both my Collection and Want list?

Best thing I've found (but I like doing things slowly), is to go to the card's page, click the arrow next to the collection info (where it shows it's on the want list), and select "Add to Collection". That automatically removes it from the want list and adds it to the collection in one move.
