I was trying to confirm my Batman cards - those of him, portraits or such, and I found that one I just received in a recent trade didn't show on the Collection Summary. So I linked it to its PID and now all's good and fine. I think.
The listing for the card is: 1989 Topps Batman #113 Grim Vendetta
A different set is listed as: 1991 Pacific Nolan Ryan Texas Express I #1 Nolan Ryan with a Note2 Future Hall of Famer (which is on the card)
Am I seeing this incorrectly, or should the listing be formatted the same way?

Nolan Ryan's name is on the front of every card. Vertical on the right hand side, so I would say Nolan set is correct.

Ideally it should be what is on the card with the player linked secondarily if the player’s name isn’t printed, but it is on the Ryan one (left front). Also if it’s an old checklist that was added before site features were added along the way (like secondary linking), it may never have been updated.

But in the case of the Nolan Ryan set, isn't his name now the card set name, so the title is what's included in Note2 and my interpretation is that that should be listed as the card name.

Same guidance that Admin gave for the Star Company single-player sets applied to the Pacific set.

Ok, so back then to Batman...
Should the cards then only be linked to the characters shown on the individual cards such as I did for 1989 Topps Batman #113 Grim Vendetta?

The Batman example looks good. We recently updated all the different Topps/OPC Ninja Turtles sets, which have a similar format to the Batman set. Here's the Topps one for guidance.

Ha. I remember those Batman cards (potentially made by Regina for New Zealand release) from my childhood.
I wonder why I have never come across any in my collection.

Could be that the lack of links on many of them. As I've been trading and seeking to maximize deals I end up searching through Non-Sports and realized this issue has probably kept my personal Batman collection low.
