Hello im new here, i used to use thecardcollector.com to keep track of my collection but they have apparently shut down so i am not able to add updates.
so my question is, is the collection option set up to use for a personal collection tracker? im talking my entire collection like 75,000 cards, or is that not the intent of the collection option, if not can anyone point somwhere that might be what im looking for?
Thanks for any help

Yes, you can input your collection to keep track of it. You can keep track of your wantlists. etc..... You can scan and add cards to the data base. Hope that helps.

Hi Thunderfoot - welcome to the trading card database. My collection is over 100,000 card listed on here, so 75,000 is certainly do-able.
Yes, the collection feature is for you to be able to track your personal collection, in addition, there are means for you to be able to track your wantlist and extras that you may wish to sell or trade. (And, if all parties do it correctly, there is a way to track trades on here, where the cards will move from one person's collection to the other, and vice-versa.)
Take your time, look around, try out some of the features. There is A LOT here. Something for everyone. Feel free to continue to ask questions, but please do take a look at the FAQ page. (The link is in the bottom section under General Info on every page.)
I hope you'll find the people here to be very friendly and helpful. We sometimes get on each others nerves, but deep down, we all like each other, kinda like siblings. :)
Have fun!

Welcome, I have been a member here for a few years, but really only started to participate on the site about 4 months ago. This place is awesome. Many friendly collectors who are glad to help out with information, and as you gain permissions more and more to do with your cards. Enjoy!

Yes, welcome to TCDB. I added my collection and at first added scans. However my scanner and I do not get along. So now I fix names and checklists and other things to add to the information here. Look around and enjoy all there is to do here..

With 75,000 cards, you would barely be in the top 60 card collections on the site. Best site I ever found - mainly because it is the members (mostly collectors) who do much of the input and a very cooperative Admin who act on the good suggestions of the members.
Welcome aboard, take the time to learn the site and then start loading in your collection. If trading is something you wish to do, there are plenty here who also wish to do the same.

Welcome to TCDB, the site is very user freindly when it comes to adding your collection, compiling a trade or want list. I started over a year ago and have already quadupled my collection using this database. And they are always making improvements! Enjoy
