Hi all,
When I was putting my collection into TCDB originally, I didn't do it with an eye for what I'd be willing to part with and so I just put it all in my Collection.
I found the feature that lets me move dupes to my FS/FT and that's great, but I'm confused about the easiest and most efficient way to quickly move specific cards to FS/FT.
Thanks!

I’d go to the specific set or do it by card.

Individual cards in a set that are not doubles will need to be done individually...I use the drop-down arrow next to each card and select move to FST. The batch moving of items only works if you have doubles, like you mentioned, or if you want to move everything in that set at one time. Maybe someone knows a more efficient way, but thats what I do.

I would create a second collection named "keepers" or something you like. I would then decide what cards I want to keep and move them individually to that collection. Once done, I would move everything left in your main collection to For Sale/Trade. Then I would have a third collection called "Traders" and move all of them into that collection.
If you are going to trade on here, keeping your Main Colelction empty is a helpful idea.

The above two (Three - someone snuck one in there while I was typing) replies pretty much cover it if you've already entered your collection. I like to have the actual box that holds my extras and go through it adding cards FS/T by set. That way it not only verifies that what is entered on the site I physically have (in case of a double click or glich while they were being input). Also, and this just might be me, I like to have at least 2 of any given card and add the 3rd to my FS/T list. This way I am covered should any of my envelopes/packages fail to reach their destination and then can easily re-send replacements for a lost or damaged in transit trade. Hopefully that never happens, knock on wood, but you never know. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.
Yeah, it seemed like there wasn't a way to just--with checkboxes or something--move things from your collection to your FS/FT. Just wanted to be sure. Might make the separate "off-limits" collection as mentioned.

Just in case this could help someone in the future: among other adventures in how to manage my collection(s), one thing I've arrived at is that--if I'm open to trading most of a set but want to keep some (and they're all already entered into my collection)--I've been moving the minority that I want to keep into a temporary Collection, moving the rest from "collection to FS/FT" and then moving the keepers back into my main collection.
It's faster than individually moving cards to FS/FT.

This is a good point. I will often create a temp collection to facilitate things like this.

Thats pretty much what I did... moved everything that was set to be in FST to a collection that I also named For Sale Trade. Made it a lot less confusing too for myself when locating cards as they were not mixed in multiple collections.
