Hello, I am curious on the thoughts of consolidating cards for Ballparks when the name has changed.

For example there are 2 separate pages for the same stadium:

Rangers Ballpark In Arlington
Globe Life Park in Arlington

And I noticed Rangers Ballpark in Arlington has an alias as Globe Life Park in Arlington. I will say, there are cards listed with two different names on them, but has there ever been consideration to consolidate all of them under 1 singular name since it is the same physical location? I noticed similar issue with other stadiums as well.

Only when they are the same structure can they be consolidated. (As an example, Shea Stadium and CitiField are different structures, so even though they are the Mets home park, they should never be consolidated.) That's a name change, much like Joey to Albert (Belle) and Mike to Giancarlo (Stanton).

Oh, and if you're taking on this task in baseball, please be sure to do this with all the ball parks that have undergone name changes in baseball, and in the other sports as well. No use in only doing a partial job.

Thank you, so I cannot combine Globe Life Park and Globe Life Field (2 different stadiums) but I can combine these. Is there a good guide on how I can do this? I assume I will have to change the pid on every card to the singular version, but once I do this how do I request removing the extra page?

Removing a PID is available to permission level 3.

Once the original PID has 0 cards as vroomed mentioned a "Delete" button appears on the PID page for L3 and above
