Two questions regarding wantlists:

1. Is there a limit to the number of cards in a wantlist?  I just added all my missing Cardinals, Pacers, and Buccaneers, and now when I try to add some sets I want, they won't add to my wantlist.  To be clear, the cards I have added number more than 120,000.  So it's possible I have made it too big.

2.  More importantly, is it possible to remove only certain cards from my massive wantlist, based on a filter result?  For example, I don't want SN1 cards on my wantlist.  There are no doubt thousands of them.  Can I remove these without going through one at a time?  That would clear up space for cards I actually do want.

I don't know the answers to either question, but I have theories.

1 - When people have had too many cards in their want or FS/FT lists, they become unsearchable. I experienced that a while back. Not sure if the server upgrades have helped/fixed that.

2 - I have yet to be able to add/delete/modify the correct cards when doing any filtered operations. I'm a computer guy, who knows  bit of coding, and can't seem to figure it out. I doubt there is a way do to that. (And besides, a lot of the SN1 sets aren't marked as such - that to, I have seen recently - and fixed.)

Sorry I can't be definitive on these, but I have seen limitations and issues with both queries. Maybe I'll try adding more to my collection lists one of these days.

Thanks Dan. Even if I could remove the thousands of SN1 that ARE labeled as such, it would be a huge help. The best way I've figured out so far is to look at all the sets in my wantlist, open any called Printing Plates, and use the Remove All From Wantlist function. It's difficult, but easier than adding the Cardinals one set at a time!

I never asked, but maybe you could ask the Admin if he could remove the 1/1's for you it might an easy thing for them but something we don't have access too.  Or at worst it could be added as a suggestion as I'm sure others would like that feature.

Being able to remove the 1/1 would be a cool option. Not for everone but if you could. I think the problem would be there are alot of 1/1 that are listed but not marked as 1/1.

I figured I would just add to this thread than create another one.  How would a man add every card from a certain team that they don't have to a wantlist?  

Go to the team's listing, then Collection Summary on the right side of the page (or bottom if you are on mobile). On the add/update page there will be a drop-down box where you can choose add all missing cards to my wantlist.

Don't forget to perform Billy's suggestion about once a month to keep adding new realeases.

I can tell you, from past experience, once your want list hits 100,000 cards, you have to add any additional cards individually to your want list. I collect New Orleans Saints, New Orleans Pelicans and other related New Orleans players such as the Manning brothers, Marshall Faulk and others. My want list is almost at 120,000 cards but I can no longer go and add any missing player or team cards without doing it the way I mentioned.
