I am proud to induct ranfordfan into the forum hall of fame. 1000 posts! I almost missed it. I congratulate him and thank him for introducing me, not much of a hockey fan, to Mr. Ranford.

Thank you my fine friend, I am humbled by my accomplishment. Good friends make it easy to speak one's mind. Even if it may be mostly mad ramblings of nothingness. Good night and God Speed ......... Tea. Earl Grey. Hot. =)

I did not vote for Ranfordfan as you can never have 100% yes votes.

I don't really drink tea (or coffee), but I love some Star Trek and TNG is my favorite series. I'm too young to have started with the original series, but thanks to BBC America, I get to binge on them now. I like it more than I thought I would. Spock is an awesome character and Nimoy did an excellent job playing him. I still like Capt. Picard more than Capt. Kirk though.

I started late too as my first real addiction was Star Trek Voyager and Cpt Janeway, really liked the back to new frontier theme. I recorded every episode and still have them on VHS. I watched a fair bit of TNG and some of DS9 but couldnt really get a feel for them. I also watched the entire run of Enterprise with Scott Bakula, it was interesting as well. Anyways, I always got a chuckle from the Earl Grey quote as it reminded me of my grandfather, he ALWAYS had an Earl Grey tea, a slice of sharp cheddar and a peice of toast with rhubarb relish before bed, and somehow I always managed to get just a little bit of all three. Grandparents I miss having them. =)

My thread has been kidnapped. But at least it's by Star Trek fans and Picard lovers. Carry on.
