I am adding PIDs and I am not sure what is glitching .... the site or my computer. I have updated all players yet when I click the Check Names tab none of the players are showing a PID?!?!? I have closed out and come back in and it still doing the same. Yet when you check on each individual they are linked. Also it won't do a multiple player card for me either ......... >( ......... it is the 1986-87 Sherbrooke Canadiens Minor League set if someone can see what the dealio is!! THX!!

There is a limit to how many names will parse at a time (I think it's 8). So I copied and pasted in 5, clicked on create links, and then the other 5. I had this happen to me in a baseball set and askjed Admin about it.

That's good info Dan. There are some insert sets out there where each card has more than eight players and I skip those sets. Now I know there's a trick! Thanks for telling us!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I'm still not getting something. I was trying to correct some names of former Buckeyes in baseball, and Matt Davis is listed as only one entry, but there are two Matt Davis players with cards. An infielder in the 90s, and the former Buckeye pitcher from 2004. I tried to create a new player ID that read Matt Davis P but I don't see that a clickable ID was created. This is my first attempt to do something like this; is this something that will be reviewed and created, or do I have to do something else first?

Brimose - I'm not sure if the system was designed this way or if it's a glitch (bug, defect, whatever term you wish to use).
Scenario: You have a card with a player with the wrong PID and you disassociate it with the incorrect PID. You go in and click the proper links to add a PID. You go back in it an it automatically added it back to thw wrong PID (or it doesn't associate it to any PID). If you go through the Add New Name Link again, you'll see the one you just added in the list of potential matches. Just copy and paste the PID number, hit back on your browser and paste it in the PID box and submit.

So that has worked when the card is associated with the wrong PID and there is a correct PID to choose. But in my scenario, there is only one PID for a name, but two players with the same name associated with that PID, so a new PID needs to be created. I am able to create a new name (in this case Matt Davis P to distinguish from the older Matt Davis) but it does not automatically create a PID, and shows up on the checklist as a non-clickable name. How does a PID get created, if we are only able to create a new name without a PID? Or is it something wrong with my process?
